Our first relationship is with the One who created us.

Is there anything more intimate? Is there anyone who knows our thoughts better than the Lord? He has counted every hair on our heads. He knit us together in our mother’s womb. He give us life, purpose, and joy. He sacrificed his own Son to bring us back into a right relationships with him.

God loves us. And the Bible tells us that if we are wise, we work to love him back.
